FIDIC’s Certified Consulting Professional certification offers an ideal way for construction professionals to accelerate their professional career and get ahead in the global consultancy sector.
The unique qualification is offered by FIDIC to early or mid-career professionals who are starting out their career in the infrastructure industry. The FIDIC Certified Consulting Professional certification (FCCP) is an international qualification for those who have three years or more of professional experience. It is also well suited to those who are not necessarily engineers but wish to validate their skills within the infrastructure sector. Candidates come from a broad range of educational backgrounds and are working or have experience in a consulting practice in the engineering, construction and infrastructure industries.
This qualification is also ideal for individuals who work in the consultancy services sector and understand the business of running a consultancy firm. The qualification validates the Certified Consulting Professional’s skills to work in a professional capacity within a consulting practice in the engineering and infrastructure industry, demonstrating their understanding of commercial and operational issues, management of risks, marketing and business development, human resources including health, safety and welfare and financial management and FIDIC’s three key values of Quality, Integrity and Sustainability.
Although participation in a training course is not a prerequisite to undertake the FCCP exam, candidates who have previously attended relevant training courses (e.g. Young Professional Management Training, Future Leaders Management, or in-house training programmes provided by some large consulting firms) are encouraged to participate in this internationally accepted qualification which they can use in the global consulting arena to further their careers.
The first exam session of 2024 will be held on 5 March 2024. The exam is delivered online and entrants can prepare for it by studying from their home or office. All candidates who successfully complete the FIDIC Certified Consulting Professional certification programme will receive an international qualification, join a global network and become part of the FIDIC alumni.
