Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council (DEIAC)

Purpose

 

The FIDIC Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council (DEIAC) (“the Council”) is an Advisory Council of FIDIC appointed by the FIDIC Board under Art.12 (7) of the FIDIC Statutes and By Law VIII to support the constituency represented by the Council, whose primary functions are to:

  • Advise the FIDIC Board and Secretariat on all aspects of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Consulting Engineering industry.
    • Advise the FIDIC Board and Secretariat on improving Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in FIDIC.
    • Promote inclusion, equity and diversity for a sustainable, transparent and more profitable Engineering Industry.
    • Actively support wider representation, equity and inclusion from more diverse groups as influencersin the Consulting Engineering industry.
    • Enhance diversity, equity and inclusion by advocating why those principles matter to business, what the benefits are and the most effective and practical measures to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion.

Federation Operations Director

Italo is FIDIC’s Federation Operations Director. Italo has more than 18 years’ work experience in various functions. He works with the FIDIC Board and CEO in the delivery of federation governance and membership business-related activities. He also plans, manages and provides operational support to FIDIC working committees, regional groups, the Directors and Secretaries Council, and Future Leaders groups.
