The leaders of the world's consulting engineering industry gathered in Beijing, China, in September 2005 for FIDIC's Annual Conference.
FIDIC has prepared itself to accept the challenge of global leadership in the implementation of sustainable engineering in both developed and developing countries.
The conference both defined and accepted the challenge by starting work on the development of a "how to" action plan for the industry to assume a leadership position.
