Dr. Dhaval Parikh is having 27+ years of professional experience with a doctoral degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from University of Wisconsin, U.S.A. and bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering, Gujarat University, India. Dr. Parikh has also undergone residential senior management training at Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad and is an IIMA alumni.

Dr. Parikh has responsibly carried out planning, design and management consultancy projects. He has extensive experience in the feasibility studies, design and management of infrastructure projects. He has also been involved in the planning process and management of many complex projects. Dr. Parikh worked with many private and Government agencies on small and large projects in India, USA, Africa and Asia. He is thoroughly familiar with procedures and working requirements of large multi-disciplinary projects for both design and construction. He has good exposure related to the procurement under multilateral agency funded projects.

He has professional experience in the procurement, administration and supervision of construction projects around the world and has worked on overseas projects for about 10 years on a variety of major infrastructure works, particularly IFI supported projects in Asia, Africa and Pacific. He has a substantial experience and skills in dispute resolution, institutional strengthening (training and development), project management and contract procurement / administration - particularly the preparation, use and interpretation of contract document for consultancy services and construction works. In-depth knowledge of FIDIC, The World Bank / Asian Development Bank (ADB) / African Development Bank (AfDB) / JICA / EBRD / MCC and other international and domestic forms of contracts, working as the Employer, the Engineer, and as adviser to governments providing advice on tender processes, contracts & legal matters, claims and dispute resolution including Arbitration and Dispute Adjudication Boards.
