Short summary experiences

In my capacity as learned lawyer I am a lecturer at University since 1997. I started to conduct FIDIC trainings in 2005, first as a mentoree, later as a fully accredited trainer. To start with I did approximately four years of training under the mentorship of the former chairperson of the FIDIC Contracts Committee, Mr. Axel Jaeger. I then started a solo career. From 2011 until 2016 FIDIC appointed me to preside the FIDIC panel for the trainer assessment.
I have trained people in-house and open-house worldwide. Mainly on behalf of FIDIC member associations, I have provided trainings covering more or less all FIDIC books including FIDIC 1987, 1999 and 2017 in 25 countries and three continents.
In 2018 I attended a training to trainers (TTT) and qualified as a certified trainer. My FIDIC trainings are aimed at providing the necessary cognitive knowledge on FIDIC contracts and complementary matters, like programming, calculation principles, and the ability to use the knowledge. I combine academic and empirical skills, including cultural and other soft skills. In my capacity as counsel, arbitrator and adjudicator who worked many years with consulting engineers I undertake to share with participants different perspectives in order to open their minds of a cooperative and good faith management.
I was very thankful to have been involved in the production of the new series of FIDIC books. This enables me to share first-hand knowledge with participants.
It was always an honour to have been invited to different places with different cultures, religions and legal backgrounds, meeting people who have one joint target, to complete their projects, which taught me a lot of lessons.
It is my passion to provide trainings with the aim to build construction teams who know on how to avoid disputes.
