Engineer Abbasi completed his graduate engineering studies (B.Sc) from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2001 and joined the Jordanian Engineers Association in the same year. On 2008, he followed his post-graduate studies in University of Turin – Italy and completed the master studies (M.Sc.) in Public Procurement Management for Sustainable Development.

Short summary experiences

Civil Engineer with around twenty years of experience in project, procurement and contract management of large construction projects including building, infrastructural, industrial and waste water treatment plants projects.
The last fourteen years involved extensive experience in construction contracts through providing advice on resolution of disputes by arbitration and ADR methods, and through preparation and evaluation of claims including time impact analyses, as well as issuing determinations on referred disputes as to disputing parties’ rights and obligations.
In addition, during the last eight years, training sessions regarding procurement and contracts management were conducted for the benefit of public and privet sectors in the national and international levels.
