Short summary experiences

Ben Novak has a forty year consulting career and is a certified FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) trainer who specializes in corporate services and corporate management training. He started consulting work in Montreal, then joined Stantec in 1982, and was later named Senior Vice-President. He participated in, and led a number of acquisition and joint venture initiatives, and sat on the first Board of Directors when Stantec became a public company. He is a graduate of McGill University, Montreal, in Civil Engineering and has a Diploma in Business Administration. He also holds a master’s degree in City Planning from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. A former ACEC (Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada) Chair, he is currently co-director of the new FIDIC Future Leaders Cerificate (FLMC) program and is an accredited Peer Reviewer for the American Consulting Engineers Council. Now independently active, he has in recent years set his prime focus on corporate training programs, by developing course modules and delivering seminars.
