FIDIC has announced the overall winners of its prestigious Project Awards for 2026 at a glittering gala dinner event held in New Delhi, India, on 15 September 2026, as part of the FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference (GIC26).

Winners of the awards, which were presented during the 2026 FIDIC Global Infrastructure Awards Gala Dinner, showcase and highlight the achievements and successes of consulting engineering member firms and their clients across the globe and the important impact their construction and infrastructure projects have on social, economic and environmental quality of life around the world.

A global list of 13 infrastructure projects from 11 countries were awarded winners and highly commended awards at the New Delhi event, which was attended by engineering, construction and infrastructure professionals from across the world. Awards were given to projects in the following categories – Megaproject, Large Project, Medium to Large Project, Small to Medium Project and Small Project.

Commenting on the results of the awards, FIDIC president Alfredo Ingletti said: “Many of the projects shortlisted this year have genuinely changed lives, transforming how communities access clean water, safe roads, reliable power and resilient cities. These awards exist because the work our industry does changes lives – and tonight, we’ve had the privilege of putting some of that extraordinary work in the spotlight.”
