Arianna Fontana, Italy's most decorated athlete and one of the most accomplished competitors in the history of international sport, will deliver a keynote address on the first day of the FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference 2026, taking place in New Delhi, India, from 13-15 September.

Across six consecutive Winter Olympic Games, Fontana won 14 Olympic medals, becoming the first woman in history to earn a medal at six Winter Olympics in a row. It is a record built not on a single moment of brilliance, but on more than two decades of reinvention, staying at the top of her sport across multiple generations of competitors.

Off the ice, Fontana has become a sought-after voice on leadership, resilience and high-performance culture, drawing on lessons from training and competing across the world. A two-time Olympic flag bearer for Italy, she now works with organisations globally to translate the discipline of elite sport into insights for teams navigating change, pressure and sustained excellence.

At FIDIC’s annual flagship event in New Delhi this September, Fontana will bring that perspective to FIDIC’s members and stakeholders built around engineering, delivery and infrastructure – challenging delegates to think about what it really takes to perform, adapt and lead at the highest level over the long term.
