Entries are now open for the 2026 FIDIC Contract Users’ Awards, which recognise excellence in the use and promotion of FIDIC contract forms across the global construction sector.
Now in their eighth year, the awards are widely regarded as the ones to win in the international construction contracts arena, offering an ideal platform to showcase collaborative best practice from around the world – and they're now firmly established as a key fixture in the international construction contract community's events calendar.
With seven categories in this year’s awards, there’s plenty of scope for companies and individuals across the global legal and contracts sector to enter and raise their profile in the industry. The seven categories are:
- Project of the Year
- Client of the Year
- Consultant of the Year
- Contractor of the Year
- Legal Firm of the Year
- Trainer of the Year
- Adjudicator of the Year
If you’ve thought about entering in previous years but never quite got round to it, this is the year to do it. With seven categories open to companies and individuals across the full spectrum of the FIDIC contracts community – from clients and contractors to lawyers, trainers and adjudicators – there’s never been a better time to put your work, or that of your team, in front of an internationally respected judging panel.
Once again, this year, that judging panel will be chaired by former UK High Court judge Sir Vivian Ramsey, who said: “These awards highlight the increasing global use of FIDIC contracts and the influence and high regard in which they are held in the global construction sector. We know that these contracts continue to play a pivotal role in the delivery of international construction projects and we are delighted to be recognising that role again with this year’s awards. I’m looking forward, with my fellow judges, to judging some excellent entries.”
All awards are free to enter and FIDIC’s user-friendly platform makes submission quick and straightforward.
The entry deadline is 5 September 2026, with winners announced at the FIDIC Contract Users’ Awards Gala Dinner in London on Wednesday 2 December 2026. The awards are a centrepiece of the Official FIDIC International Contract Users’ Conference, running from 30 November to 3 December 2026, which brings together the global FIDIC contracts community for two days of insight, discussion and high-level networking.
