FIDIC’s Ghanaian member association is hosting the 2026 FIDIC Africa Infrastructure Conference in Accra from 10-13 May 2026. With the key theme of Future-Ready Infrastructure: Advancing Africa through innovation and sustainability, the conference will explore forward-thinking infrastructure as Africa’s cornerstone for growth.

Harnessing cutting-edge tech, green solutions and resilient design to empower communities, drive inclusive growth and position Africa as a global leader in sustainable, forward-thinking infrastructure development, the conference will give attendees the opportunity to meet with engineering professionals from across the globe to address Africa’s infrastructure challenges and foster innovation in sustainable development.

The conference is being held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, Ghana (pictured above), and the programme offers four days of learning, networking and innovation and the chance to be part of Africa’s premier infrastructure conference. The event includes a special Future Leaders symposium on Empowering the next generation of engineering professionals, a directors, secretaries and presidents meeting with strategic planning and governance discussions, the annual assembly of FIDIC Africa members, a welcome reception, local colour night and also a gala dinner.

Delegates at the event will learn from industry experts, connect with peers from around the world and contribute to shaping the future of African infrastructure by attending this key infrastructure conference for the African continent.
