FIDIC Academy, the official training arm of FIDIC, has completed the rebranding of its courses, workshops and webinars, moving away from its previous module-based naming system to reflect a more flexible and accurate approach to learning tailored to the diverse needs of its global users.
The previous module system, which implied a sequential learning structure (e.g., Module 1, 2, 3, etc.), was found to be misleading due to the unique and varied subject matter of each course whereas the new framework introduces a much more user-friendly system, allowing participants to select courses based on their interests and needs, without adhering to a rigid sequence.
Three key highlights of the new framework are:
- Flexible learning: Participants can now take any course they wish, with recommended prerequisites provided for certain advanced learning journeys.
- Clear course titles: All FIDIC Academy offerings now feature updated official titles to enhance clarity and uniformity.
- No modular graduation: Unlike a university-style system, there is no linear graduation process. Instead, the focus is on skills-building and knowledge enhancement.
Below is the list of FIDIC Academy’s rebranded courses, workshops and webinars.
With the transition period for rebranding now complete, FIDIC Academy has removed all “formerly known as” references from its website. The Academy encourages all stakeholders to adopt the updated course titles for clarity and consistency.
