The International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) is deeply saddened at the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who has died today.

The Queen was admired worldwide for her leadership and lifetime of public service and has been a reassuring presence to many people across the globe during decades of change.

FIDIC pays tribute to her unstinting dedication, dignity and tireless commitment and we extend our condolences to the British Royal Family, to FIDIC’s UK member association the Association for Consultancy and Engineering and to all our friends and colleagues around the world at this sad time.
