The shortlist for the 2021 FIDIC Member Association Excellence Awards has been revealed and includes entries from eight FIDIC member associations from all corners of the world.
The MA Excellence Awards recognise individuals, teams, campaigns, initiatives, publications and events and celebrate excellence in how FIDIC’s global member associations operate in a fast-changing and dynamic industry landscape while serving their members and other stakeholders.
The shortlist for the 2021 FIDIC Member Association Excellence Awards, which were judged by an expert panel, is as follows: -
- American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) - USA
- China National Association of Engineering Consultants (CNAEC) -China
- NLingenieurs - Netherlands
- Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) - South Africa
- Association of Engineers-Consultants of Ukraine (AECU) - Ukraine
- Rådgivende Ingeniørers Forening (RIF) - Norway
- Union Suisse des Sociétés d’Ingénieurs Conseils (USIC) - Switzerland
- Consulting Engineers Association of India (CEAI) - India
The eight shortlisted member associations have been shortlisted for the awards across the following categories - Best Advancement of a Cause, Advocacy Campaign or Event, Best Publication or Website.
Commenting on the announcement of the awards shortlist, FIDIC chief executive Dr Nelson Ogunshakin said: “The past year has been an extremely challenging one for FIDIC’s global member associations due to the unprecedented issues as a result of the Covid pandemic. Our members associations have risen to the challenge and have supported their members and stakeholders like never before and we are delighted to recognise their excellent work with these awards.”
Winners of the FIDIC Member Association Excellence Awards 2021 will be presented on Wednesday 8 September 2021 at 2.30pm CET as part of the annual FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference.
