This session will look at how infrastructure projects and the way they are delivered may change in the aftermath of the pandemic. Some key questions to consider include: -

  • What does a post-Covid-19 world means for the way that construction businesses deliver their services and work with clients and other stakeholders?
  • What changes are we likely to see?
  • Are current business models fit for purpose as the industry navigates the new normal and what needs to change to improve things?
  • Will contractual relationships on projects change as a result of the crisis?
  • Are contracts flexible enough and does the industry and clients need to work differently in future?
  • How can projects be procured and delivered quicker and more sustainably?
  • What role can FIDIC play in highlighting best practice in project delivery?
