An independent consultant since early 2013 with over 37 years’ experience in the construction industry specialized in contracts and construction management, having an extensive background in
1. Construction Project Management including Supervision, Planning, Cost Estimating, Procurement, Cost Management,
2. Construction Contracts Pre and Post Award Management Services including Tendering and Tender Analysis and Award,
3. Client Consultant Contract / Agreement Management helping Clients during the course of a project, in particular when problems arise and / or claims need to be prepared / addressed,
4. Value Engineering, and
5. Project management and delivery including advice on all close out procedures
6. Arbitration / Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
All the above was associated with a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects. I have worked on a wide variety of mega projects including five-star hotels, mixed use commercial centers, infrastructure, highways, luxurious villas, office buildings, hospitals and clinics, airport terminal buildings and airfield facilities, industrial sea water pumping
stations and marine works projects. My work experience also included performing and reviewing proposals, meetings with clients, and preparing management reports.
Latest position was with international / national multi-deciplinary consultancy, responsible for the overall management of the Firm's operations and projects in Jordan. Prior to this post I woworked as a Projects Coordinator on several of the firm's projects in Jordan, in charge of client's liaison and coordination of project design / implementation related issues. I have gained experience both in Jordan and Canada, where I supervised building construction, performed concrete quality control, supervised infrastructure works, carried out geotechnical investigations and materials inspections, and supervised road construction and related structures.
