Short summary experiences
- Since 2019, I am offering ADR services through my own practice, ProADR in Qatar and other countries. I was the Party Representative of a District Cooling Company, few local and international building and infrastructure contractors, and a BIM design company on FIDIC Adjudication and Arbitration Cases. - I was acting as an in-house adjudicator for Qatar Public Works Authority (Ashghal) overseeing Mega Programs such as Expressway Program, Local Roads and Drainage Projects, PPP Projects, Building / Facility Projects and many others. As there is no statutory Adjudication in Qatar, chronic disputes would come to my section as a final resort before litigation at Qatar courts. The value of the disputes, commensurate with the sizes of the Programs, was varying between circa QAR 10M (USD 2.74M) to QAR 400M (USD 110M).- I have acted as the person-in-charge of all Ooredoo (former Qatar Telecom) Mega Projects from a Contract and Dispute management perspective. Significantly, I have acted as the Party Representative and Advisor on one of the biggest disputes in ICT history between Ooredoo and a media conglomerate. - I have acted as the Claims / Disputes adviser for Qatari Diar (Qatar Investment Authority’s Real Estate Arm) overseeing of a large portfolio of real estate development projects in various countries. - I have acted at various other consulting positions on a number of projects as well, as could be seen in detail from my CV.
