Brandon Malone has almost 30 years of experience as a lawyer working in the field of commercial dispute resolution, 25 of those years as a specialist in construction and engineering law. He has represented parties in the higher courts, arbitrations and adjudication processes in respect of a wide variety of disputes ranging from quantum and delay claims, to contract interpretation disputes, to building defect cases, to PFI disputes, and professional negligence claims. As well as dealing with disputes, Brandon has had extensive experience of drafting and negotiating professional appointments and building and engineering contracts. As a litigator, he has appeared in a wide range of courts, including the appeal courts. He is qualified to appear in the higher civil courts in Scotland (the Court of Session) and as a practising barrister, he is also able to appear in the High Court in England and Wales, and the UK Supreme Court. Brandon was involved in one of the earliest statutory adjudications in the UK under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, and has been heavily involved in adjudication ever since, pursing and defending major construction and engineering disputes. He was first appointed as an adjudicator in 2015, and since then has dealt with a wide range of cases as adjudicator under a range of JCT and SBCC form, as well as bespoke contracts and complex PFI agreements. The subject matter of the decisions issued include professional negligence, contract interpretation, delay and disruption, design defects, and performance and payment under PFI agreements. Brandon also has extensive experience of arbitration, having dealt with cases under ICDR, LCIA and ad hoc rules._x000D_
