In the last of our water reports, we explore the issues facing the largest body of water on this planet. We fish in it, we have sailed across it and whilst it once seemed insurmountable and the jewel of the plant, the effects of human activity are starting to take their toll. In 2015, FIDIC took the step of highlighting such issues and it is important we revisit this important subject. If the engine of the earth sits below the core, the coolant that keeps it operating is our oceans and we cannot afford to lose such an important ecosystem.
