FIDIC Module 1: Practical Use of the FIDIC Conditions of Contract (in Bulgarian)
Who should attend
This course is aimed at providing systematic and practical guidance to anyone engaged in major projects. It will appeal to representatives of contractors, employers, developers, project sponsors and funders, insurers, consulting engineers and architects, project managers and lawyers. It will be useful also for experts with basic knowledge, since more than 60 slides are dedicated to the changes in the 2017 Edition and others to the 2019 Emerald Book.
This training includes
•Introduction to FIDIC history, standard forms and procedures;
•Analysis of the FIDIC Engineer dual role in the FIDIC contracts;
•Recommendations on the adaptation of the FIDIC Conditions of Contract to the laws of the country and the specific project;
•A Clause by Clause analysis and comparison of the 3 FIDIC 1999 standard forms for major works:
1.Red Book: «Conditions of Contract for Construction»;
2.Yellow Book «Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build»;
3.Silver Book «Conditions of Contract for EPC/Turnkey Projects».
