FIDIC 2018 Users’ Conference in Johannesburg 30 & 31 October - Workshops on 29 October & 1 November

Johannesburg will this year be the meeting place for the FIDIC's official Africa Contract Users' event 2018.

25+ Speakers will share their expertise of the FIDIC forms of contract to underpin some of the most challenging infrastructure projects in Africa. A variety of case studies from different industries and countries will help bring the benefits to life and to understand the practical challenges of their application in practice.

Needless to say that the newly launched FIDIC Suite of Contracts 2017 will be the red thread throughout the programme. Members from the FIDIC Contracts Committee together with international and national experts will identify key changes in the 1999 and 2017 Contracts with emphasis on risk allocation in the new rules on dispute avoidance and resolution .
