The webinar series is aimed at existing Future Leaders groups and their members, member associations and regional groups of FIDIC, member firms and Future Leaders who wish to start a Future Leaders group. This is intended to be an interactive way to share and learn, understand the challenges being experienced in various parts of the world and to lobby support for those who need it.

The series will be moderated by Jeshika Ramchund of the FIDIC Africa Executive Committee and Future Leaders.

This webinar will look at the different aspects of creating and constituting a Future Leaders group and includes a case study on the lessons learned from setting up a new group.

How to create and constitute a Future Leaders Group 

a) Planning, support, advocacy and finance – with invited speakers, Godfrey Ramalisa (Stakeholder Engagement Manager at Consulting Engineers South Africa) and Italo Goyzueta (FIDIC Federation Operations Director).

b) Business Planning – with invited speakers Yankho Banda (Chair of CESA Future Leaders) and Amanda Masondo-Mkhize (CESA Future Leaders Past Chair)

c) Membership, partnerships and regional groups – with invited speakers Lyubomir Petrov (EFCA Future Leaders), Harold Stonehuge (FIDIC Africa), Rodrigo Juarez and Andre Jabir (FEPAC), Sheng Zhou (ASPAC).

Case Study #2 – Learning lessons from new Future Leaders groups

Invited FIDIC Future Leaders speakers from Botswana and Uganda, Michelle Sekgopa (ACEB) and Collins Kibira (UACE), will talk about what have they learnt in developing their groups and discuss where they go next.
