Experienced in roads (at grade, underground and elevated), long-span bridges (suspension, cable stayed, glued segmental), tunnelling (hard and soft ground, using boring machines, jacking processes, manual excavation, drilling and blasting), power generation and distribution projects (nuclear, hydropower, gas and solid fuels, waste-to-energy), railways (high-speed main line, urban metro and light rail, depots signalling and M & E works), large buildings (airport terminals, powerhouses, commercial developments, sports stadium, hospitals), building services, telecommunications projects, water supply projects off-shore oil platforms and large dams. Particularly conversant with multi-disciplined projects (power stations, industrial buildings, airports, mass transit railways).

Dispute resolution experience
As Arbitrator, approximately 10 construction references (United Kingdom, Africa) under institutional and ad hoc procedures. Main contract and subcontract disputes involving amounts up to US$90 million arising under traditional contracts. No decisions overturned on appeal. Served as sole arbitrator and on tribunals (as party appointed member under ICE, ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA and ad hoc arbitration procedures).

As Adjudicator, 20 decisions given under United Kingdom statutory adjudication scheme. No decision overturned at arbitration. Experience in drafting contractual provisions and procedures for adjudication and dispute boards. As a DAB member, approximately 30 appointments under World Bank/FIDIC conditions, Construction Act 1996, statutory schemes and associated amendments to standard form contracts. As Advocate, presenting a parties case in arbitration, adjudication and to dispute boards.

As Expert, approximately 50 appointments in cases involving delay analysis and amounts up to £50 million. Giving evidence in all forms of tribunal (arbitration, adjudication and the high court).

As Party Representative, leading negotiations aimed at reaching amicable settlements of disputes and differences.
