Anthony Barry is Aurecon’s Managing Director for the Asia region, responsible for developing market growth and opportunities, as well as operations in the Asian countries. He has been a Director of the Aurecon companies since 1999.
With over 38 years of experience in engineering, Tony served as National President of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Australia from late 2004 to 2006, and remained a director until November 2008.
Tony is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and a life member of Consult Australia.
In 2006, he was awarded the Engineers Australia - Sydney Division's Professional Engineer of the Year Award and has also been listed by Engineers Australia among the 100 most influential engineers in the country.
