Kiran Kapila is a Civil Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers of India, a Chartered Civil Engineer, a Member of American Society of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of New York Academy of Sciences. During his 40 year career, Kiran has served the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the Airports Authority of India and thereafter set up in 1987 the Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Pvt. Ltd (ICT).
Kiran has profound knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract and has guided a number of projects as Engineer. He is a member of FIDIC QBS Committee. He was President of Consulting Engineers Association of India (CEAI) between 2007-2010 and organized the FIDIC Conference 2010.
