It features a cost-effective training approach and offers optional attendance to FIDIC’s annual Infrastructure Conference. All participants will receive FIDIC certificates of completion following a short exam, and those attending the conference will enjoy the opportunity of creating a unique presentation for all conference attendees.
The programme is made up of a series of interactive webinars, case study work and discussions with trainers. Six webinars are included with the following content:

The reference textbook is the FIDIC Guide to Practice(GtP). An electronic copy of the book is provided to the participants, together with any other relevant FIDIC documents.
The registration fee for the online training is Euro 1,200; the optional participation at the FIDIC annual conference and the 2-day working sessions costs Euro 800. Please contact the organiser if you wish to pre-book your seat at the FIDIC conference in Geneva 2021. Travel costs to Geneva and accommodation are not included.
The webinars will be held at monthly intervals starting in March and ending in August 2020.
Depending on the demand each webinar will be run twice for two different time zones. The possible timing of the webinars is 08:00 and 16:00 hours Central European Time (CET).
The times of the webinars in different time zones will be announced after sufficient numbers of participants have registered.
The Webinars will be 2 hours each covering 1.5 hours of content and 0.5 hours discussion on case assignments particular to the material being covered.
Participants will be given case studies that will be placed on FIDIC's designated platform. The case studies will require each participant to write at least 300 words on at least 3 cases. The Trainers will grade the responses and provide the participants with comments.
The Trainers will evaluate each participant and upon proof of participation in all 6 Webinars and at least one 300-word comment on 3 case studies and completion of a final Exam (to be taken after Webinar 6). FIDIC, based on the Trainers' evaluation, will decide whether the participant has passed the programme.
An optional Webinar 7 will be proposed to registrants who chose to participate in the Conference in Geneva. This webinar will introduce the FIDIC Infrastructure Conference, the FLMC meetings at the Conference and the Future Leaders workshop to be presented at the Conference.
The FIDIC Annual Conference 2021 will be held in Geneva from Sunday 12th to Tuesday 14th September 2021. Programme participants who opt to attend the Conference will attend a two-day workshop at the Conference venue (Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva).
Conference participants will have an opportunity to meet the trainers and will have an opportunity to present their thoughts at the FIDIC annual conference. They will also discuss themes of their choosing, in part of a two-day charette-type session. One of the main benefits of attending the conference is the networking opportunities which benefits participants.
Following successful completion of the programme participants will become members of the Future Leaders Group together with some 700 other alumni of the previous courses.
