Denver Union Station Transit Improvements

The opening in the canopy structure of the Commuter Rail Train Hall allows for natural light to shine in, while also preserving the historic view of Denver Union Station.

A glimpse of the 17th Street gardens can be seen when pedestrians travel down the pavilion structures into the 22-bay underground bus terminal.

The 1000 foot long bus concourse has an airport-like feel with information display boards directing passengers to one of the 22 gates.

Commuters wait to board their bus in the underground terminal.

The skylights in the bus terminal exemplify sustainability by providing natural light into the underground structure, helping to meet LEED Silver Certification.
