FIDIC Contracts Course Module 3, Serbia, 14-15 November 2018
“UNDERSTANDING DISPUTE BOARDS UNDER THE FIDIC CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT - FIDIC MODULE 3“
The programme aims to:
- explain the use of DABs in the FIDIC Construction and Plant and Design-Build Contracts and the application of Dispute Board rules and procedures. The FIDIC Short Form of Contract and the FIDIC EPC/Turnkey Contracts are also covered, using the Construction and Plant Contracts as the basis,
- explain the procedures and application of the Dispute Adjudication requirements under these contracts to those wishing to work as dispute adjudicators as well as those who will use Dispute Adjudication Boards either as an Employer, Engineer or Contractor,
- focus on the experience gained from DAB processes for those with a good basic understanding of DAB processes and procedures, but need in-depth practical knowledge and problem solving scenarios.

He has been accredited 1999 to lecture FIDIC launch seminars as facilitator and is a certified FIDIC trainer of FIDIC and VBI and a regular speaker on FIDIC Users’ Conferences and Seminars.
In 1999 the New Red, Yellow, Silver and Green Books, known as the rainbow suit, were published under his significant contribution.
In the year 2001 he was elected for a four-year term of office by the majority of the international member associations as a Member of FIDIC’s Executive Committee, EC, with the prime responsibility of the Contracts Committee, CC and the Assessment Panel for Adjudicators, APA.
Currently he is working on the new international Operate, Design, Build, ODP Conditions of Contract, White Book Agreements and as Special Advisor on the update of the 1999 rainbow suit.
