Employed by James R Knowles Limited since October 1990 and involved in the resolution of construction and engineering disputes on major international projects in the Caribbean, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Turkey, United Kingdomraine and Zimbabwe.

2000: named Adjudicator in sub-contracts for R G Carter Limited (a large building and civil engineering contractor in the east of England).

1999: passed the Competence Assessment examination of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (first attempt) and accepted onto the Panel. Twelve appointments as Adjudicator (with a number of appointments declined as they were in conflict with subsisting commitments on overseas references).
